Reverend Cecil Williams of Glide Memorial Church received The Courageous Leadership Award for his lifetime championing of justice, and racial and civic harmony.

Al Baum received The Rita Semel Jewish-Civic Leadership Award for his tireless commitment to the LGBT community and civil rights.

Nancy and Larry Goldberg received The Honorable Tom Lantos Memorial Humanitarian Award for individually and collectively championing critically important causes ranging from safeguarding Israel's security to ending human trafficking.

Yitzhak Santis received The JCRC Advocate Award for his passionate advocacy work at JCRC for 21 years and for leading our community's Israel education, advocacy and counter-BDS efforts.

The Bay Area Jewish Coalition for Literacy (JCL) is an affiliate of the National Jewish Coalition for Literacy. JCL aims to help reverse the trend of illiteracy across the country by mobilizing thousands of volunteer reading tutors, organizing book drives, and developing advocacy for public education.
